April 9, 2016 – We started our big loop adventure!    Departing Port Royal landing marina, headed to Charleston, then on to Beaufort NC.    We spent the night in Charleston City Marina (the tidal currents are quite the adrenaline rush when docking – especially for a newbie). A fun time was had by all – Wife Donna traveled with us from Port Royal to Charleston, where we met Wayne who flew in from Tucson and is traveling to Beaufort NC with us.
